• We believe in blind submissions to eliminate any form of bias. Make sure that your name does not appear anywhere on the submission itself, or it will automatically be rejected.
• We aim to give you a quick response, but please do not query us about the status of your submission until the submissions period has been closed for at least 4 weeks. Inquiries, withdrawals, and anything else regarding your submission should be sent to info@sedimentslit.com.
• We do not accept previously published materials. This includes publication on personal blogs, social media pages, etc.
• We encourage simultaneous submissions, but please notify us immediately upon acceptance elsewhere by Withdrawing your submission, Adding a Note to your submission if you have submitted multiple pieces, or emailing info@sedimentslit.com.
• Please wait to receive a response from us for your previous submission before submitting again.
• By submitting to Sediments Literary-Arts Journal, you are verifying that you are the sole author/artist of the submitted work. If accepted, you grant Sediments First Serial Rights and the non-exclusive right to keep your work archived online. After publication, all rights revert to the author/artist. If your work is subsequently published elsewhere, you agree to credit Sediments as the original publisher.
